Training Goals WEEK 2 of 9

STAIR CLIMB March 4 2007 8 weeks
1,311 stairs 69 flights 19 steps per flight Target Time: 30 minutes
1. Do something every day: 15-20 minimum flexibility and/or strength training
2. Maintain 40 minutes every day @ peak heart rate
3. Work up to 18 sets/Fort Worden stairs ( I may decide to ramp up to 18 thru the week)
Monday 10 sets Wednesday 15sets Friday 18sets Sunday 18 sets for time
4. One extended activity--3-4 hour hike, bike ride, etc (needs to be significant amount of time to build endurance)
5. Learn more about Training physiology and make an informed training schedule for the next several weeks

This week my goals are fairly simple:
1. Do something every day
2. Work up to 40 minutes every day @ peak heart rate
3. Work up to 18 sets/Fort Worden stairs
4. One day of extended activity--2-3 hour hike, bike ride, etc
5. Start a training journal
6. Get registered at Scott Stair Climb
