Less than three days...
Put on full gear, pack and bottle and mask to run the stairs today, climbed about half as many stairs as I will need to on Sunday.  (Hope the spirit of the event, the challenge, determination, or at least the faster firefighters pushing past me, carry me up a few flights...) Spent an hour stretching afterwards, and ate noodles in my soup tonight.   feel so much stronger than a year ago or even in January, and while I am done "training" for this little adventure, I think I am convinced that I am "training" for life now...just doesn't seem like there is anyway around the fact that I feel so much better if I find the time and get some fairly serious aerobic exercise three or four times a week, combined with strength/weight training for the whole maintaining bone density without estrogen part of life after 45....

So, I'll post some pictures from the top of the tower when I get back.
